Chungin Han Minjujui is a freelance anarchist and musician. He likes to think of himself as a poet, who can’t be bothered going to work in the morning. He is not connected to painting by anything other than just breathing paint. Besides being actively involved in the punk bank called St. Cheatersburg he also stumbles onto a solo concert from time to
time, which is a mixture of queer-folk presented in a cabaret-like manner, unsuccessful standup numbers and the bittersweet elements of waste bin romanticism.

Erki Kasemets
workshop/performance
Structor 5
SATURDAY, November 2 from 11:00-16:00
Studio at Øvre Strandgate 66
during R-Open
All kinds of performance-related activities play a significant role in the work of Erki Kasemets, who was educated as a scenographer. He has managed the activities of the Polygon Theater for years, in which he is the only permanent member. The performances of the Polygon Theatre are usually urban actions with a larger or smaller number of participants, or various games, the lack of results and sporadic absurdity of which are very similar to the Fluxfests by Fluxus. STRUCTOR 5 is definitely a participatory performance/workshop based on game logic, which the artist describes as follows:
“STRUCTOR – 5 is a visual system and database, in which an image is formed by combining 25 (5x5) pieces. The person constructing the picture, or the structor, has a limited amount of time – about 5 minutes – to execute his or her mission. Only the picture that each participant completes with the first try is recorded, and is subsequently and forever attached to the specific person in the ever expanding database. The number of theoretical possibilities is so large that every person who is now living, or has ever lived, on Earth, could create hundreds of billions of pictures that would never be exactly duplicated. By systematically implementing STRUCTOR – 5, it is possible to find similarities between social, ethnic, cultural and other groups. This time, the experiment is to use Structor – 5 to find people connected to both the Stavanger artists and residents, and the people connected to the Estonian Dream project.”
It is also possible to participate in a milk carton painting “course” during the painting workshop.
